The TimeInMind Calendar is a calendar that is also a database. The core element is the individual event record.

In an organization with a broad array of missions and multi-faceted activities , events interact with each other in complex and changing patterns. A database calendar provides analytical tools to keep up with the flow. Workspace allocation, personnel management, project tracking and departmental operations can be considered separately and as part of the whole.

All the information about each event can be reliably found in one place. Each event record is identified by its title and date. Separate fields are available for starting and ending times, the people involved, details about external contacts, event number, and notes. Four indexing fields for location, track, principals and department are provided with pop-up editable authority lists.

The calendar has an easy and flexible duplication tool for recurring events, and a select and display page to produce calendars that are subsets of the main database.

The TimeInMind Calendar runs under Filemaker Pro, an industry standard application on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. Filemaker provides powerful tools and a flexible environment for extracting groups of events for comparison and evaluation.
